A living Andy Warhol painting turned deathcore metal keyboardist, ALAENA was destined to become LA's pop-grunge princess. Her voice throws a naturally innocent yet eerie twist at her heart-pounding, alt-pop pop-leaning tracks, captivating fans with her one of a kind presence.
The Pittsburgh native cut her teeth starting at age 16 in the internationally renowned metal band Winds of Plague, the breeding ground for her style, which effortlessly mixes a 90's vibe with a grungy edge to showcase the duality of her image.
After moving to Los Angeles and meeting producer Khris Lorenz, who was immediately attracted to the magnetic pull of her world, they coined the genre "pop-grunge" and the rest is history being made in real time with influences ranging from Britney Spears to Marilyn Manson.
As she transitioned into the pop-diva she was born to be, ALAENA released a series of singles through 2016 and 2017, that jump-started her blossoming career receiving notice from the likes of Wonderland Magazine, C-Heads, Galore, Indie Mag, as well as labeled one of PAPER Magazine’s ‘Artists to Watch’ in 2017. New year, new music and ALAENA is ready to take claim to her throne, leading with “I GET MY WAY,” her self-loving anthem and the first release of the new year.
The metal meets pop infused single makes its debut May 28th and is only just the beginning of what is to come. ALAENA is geared up for her grand debut as a solo artist and invites the whole world into her wonderfully weird mind.
