Alana, formerly known as Alana Potocnik from metal band, Winds of Plague, is shaking up the pop world with the release of her new single, "Black Magic". Inspired by the popular 90's horror film, "The Craft", the music video screams 90's alternative. The Pittsburgh native puts a creative spin on pop music through the mixing her dark roots with the very opposing genre. Growing up with an affinity for pop, her voice throws a natural eerie innocent twist at the hear-pounding pop tracks while her visuals captivate a viewer's eyes, heart, and soul with her euphoric presence. Since 2015, she's been working closely with producer Khris Lorenz, (most known for working with artists such as One Direction, FloRida, Brooke Candy and Hey Violet) on developing her sound. Her first single titled "Bad" gained momentum and helped spike growth in Alana's fan base. She has since received interest from highly notable DJs, songwriters and blogs all over the spectrum.
"Setting the shamelessly angsty and rebellious mood, Alana is clearly going to be bringing to bear on her music, she had a pretty excited to see where things would be going next." - Wonderland Magazine
"The antagonists of dark and bizarre content clash with the colorful light scenes and ALANA's preppy outfits - we are reminded of Avril Levigne, Kesha, or the girl group "The Veronicas" - INDIE Mag (Vice Network)
